Live Free Die is an independent journal of ideas written by Lonestar.

I believe people matter more than political parties, institutions, corporations, and governments. I believe freedom carries responsibility, that conscience matters, and that no political movement has a monopoly on truth.

I believe technology, including artificial intelligence, has extraordinary potential to improve our lives. But I also believe there is a danger in allowing the things we create to become the things we worship.

I don't promise neutrality. I promise independence.

I will question authority, challenge assumptions, and occasionally challenge my own convictions.

You may agree with one essay and strongly disagree with the next. That's fine.

The goal is not to tell people what to think. It's to encourage them to think.
